Cesar S. Soares, 41, of Fall River, passed away on Monday after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Husband of Lisa (Gaudencio) Soares. Born in Sao Vicente Ferreira, St. Michael, Azores, he came to this city in 1996. He worked for D. Schumacher Landscaping Co. and was a member of Mass Laborers Local #151 and the St. Anthony Band Club. Cesar was the beloved father of Samantha and Eric Soares. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 27, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his commmittal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
