Charles L. Bevilacqua, age 96, passed away at home Sunday, May 17, 2015, following an illness. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Kirby) Bevilacqua. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Carlos Bevilacqua and the late Regina (Rigazzi) Bevilacqua. A lifelong resident of Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a graduate of B. M. C. Durfee High School. Charles was employed as a salesman for many years at the former Schwartz Lumber Company prior to becoming a partner of the former Broadway Heating & Plumbing. He was also a parishioner for many years of the former St. Louis Church on Bradford Avenue in Fall River. Surviving family members include his three children; Carl Bevilacqua of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Thomas Bevilacqua of Fall River, and Ann Marie Murray of Westport, Massachusetts, a sister, Anna Chenervert of Parumph, Nevada, a great granddaughter, Alexandra Buchanan of Tiverton, Rhode Island, and many nieces and nephews. Charles was also the grandfather of the late Derek Leboeuf. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, May 21st, in Holy Rosary Church followed by his committal and entombment at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
