Charles Oliveira, Jr., 77, of Fall River, husband of Harriet A. (Heimiller) Oliveira, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Born and raised in Fall River, the son of the late Charles Oliveira and the late Emily (Mello) Oliveira, he had also resided in Somerset for several of his younger years.

Prior to his retirement he had worked at Plymouth Rubber of Canton. Charles served his country honorably in the Army National Guard for sixteen years and was trumpet section leader of the 215th Army Band. He enjoyed model trains, fishing, and also trapshooting for a while.

Besides his wife of 42 years, he is survived by: three stepchildren, Deborah Kennon (husband Joseph) of Middleboro, Melissa Peloquin of Uxbridge, MA, and Shirley Lewis (husband Todd) of Groveland, Florida; a sister, Sharon Medeiros of Fall River; four grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His Cremation Arrangements were private.
