Charles H. Medeiros, 64, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, formerly of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday July 8, 2016. He was the fiancé of Gaylene Bruce. Charles was born in Fall River, son of the late Charles P. and Florida E. (Guillemette) Medeiros. He served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard during Vietnam. Charles worked as a pipefitter until his retirement in 2008 and belonged to the Local 51 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. Besides his fiancé, survivors include his daughters, Sarah Medeiros and Jamie Medeiros, both of Fall River; sisters, Lorraine Scanel of Attleboro, Marie E. Sherman and her husband Larry of Somerset, Marlene A. Evans and her husband Glenn of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Nancy L. Ferreira and her husband Manuel of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Victoria Veronica Rocha and Charles Belisle, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July 11th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. His cremation was private.
