Cheryl A. Howard, 62, of Woonsocket, formerly of Fall River, wife of Everett N. Howard III, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at home after a long illness. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late William and Bernice (Medeiros) Perreira, she resided in Fall River most of her life, having moved to Woonsocket just 6 years ago.

A Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, she enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, wearing jewelry, and especially going to the beach, as she loved being in the sun.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: four children, Amy Benoit (fiancé Edward Casey) of Fall River, twins Jenny Benoit & Jeremiah Benoit both of Fall River, and Felicia (Howard) Carreiro (husband Jason) of East Freetown; two brothers, George Perreira and Michael Perreira both of Fall River; eight grandchildren, Chantel, Trevor, Brian, Kaleigh, Collin, Bella, Maggie, Hayden; one great grandson, Kingsley; and several nieces & nephews. She was also the sister of the late James Perreira.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 28th, in St. Anthony Of Padua Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
