Christopher G. Bolen, 60, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after an illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Rose Marie (Silvia) Bolen of Fall River and the late George A. Bolen, Jr.

After graduating from UMass Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Christopher went on to earn a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University. Prior to his being stricken with sudden paralysis about seven years ago, he had worked for a number of years as a speed-reader with the New England Newsclip Agency formerly of Fall River.

Chris enjoyed fishing, bicycling, comic books, travel, going to Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun; and was known for his dry sense of humor. Besides his mother, he leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Linda & Richard Silvia and Megan Silvia-Flavell who were always there for him, along with his special friend, Donna Newton.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 19th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
