Christopher "Moose"
Brady
d. Nov 17, 2016
Orlando
Christopher Dwight "Moose" Brady, 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Milne and Carolyn A. (Burke) Brady of Somerset.
Christopher graduated from Somerset High School in 1976. He attended both Northeastern University and Bristol Community College. From there, he was employed at AT&T where he met his wife, Ann. He was promoted twice and retired as a Labor Relations Manager.
Growing up, Christopher played baseball, football and basketball. His most joyful moments were gardening, entertaining and cooking with his wife, sharing recipes with his sister, playing sports, watching his son do the same and daughter play music. Live music was a big part of Christopher's life. His favorite band was the Grateful Dead and he had attended 50 of their shows. In the Brady house, the music never stopped. He also loved his Labrador Retrievers, Coco and Bruschi, often taking them to the dog park for a run. A former season ticket holder, he was a faithful Patriots fan and loved the Red Sox with his famous phrase being, "We're gonna win."
He leaves his wife, Ann P. (McCabe) Brady and his two children, Tara E. Brady and Shane C. Brady all of Orlando, Florida; and his sister Kathryn Brady Cabral and her husband Manuel of Swansea.
His life was celebrated on Saturday, December 17th, with a Memorial Mass in St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Somerset. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Chris's memory to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, at https://moffitt.org/give-back/donate/ .
