Christopher M. Resendes, 38, of Westport, passed away on Saturday. Born in Fall River, son of Manuel and Gridoarda (Medeiros) Resendes of Westport. Christopher was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1993. He worked as an x-ray technician for EDI Diagnostics in Taunton. Christopher enjoyed spending time with his two children, family and friends, especially fishing with his father and golfing with his brother and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his children, Aidan Christopher Resendes and Ava Lynn Resendes; a brother, Manuel Resendes; maternal grandmother, Maria Medeiros; and Paternal grandmother Maria da Conceicao Resendes. He was also grandson of the late Cristiano Medeiros and Aires Resendes. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, August 2, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
