Cidaliza M. Amaral, 80, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a long illness. Widow of Gabriel Amaral, Jr. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael,
Azores, daughter of the late Manuel and Honorina Marques. She was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of Anna Raposo (companion–Robert Edge); Gabriel Amaral, III (companion-Colleen Viveiros) and Steven Amaral (companion Cristina Botelho); grandmother of Cheryl Moniz, Raquel Gomes, Peter Amaral, Gabriel Amaral, IV; Jason and Erica Raposo; sister of Maria Papoula, Carlos Raposo, Gil Marques and the late Manuel Marques. She also leaves 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, September 23, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
