Clara (Richard) Santos, 88, of Assonet, passed away Sunday after a short illness. Widow of William Santos. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph Alcide Richard and Mary (Carvalho) Richard, she was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of Constance Morrissette, Sheila Morrissette and Theresa Dubois; loving companion of Dennis Ferreira; sister of the late James Richard and Alice Silvia formerly Bourbeau. Clara also leaves 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 3, in St. Bernard Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
