Claudette C. Nogueira, 90, of Somerset, widow of John T. Nogueira, Jr., passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Clifton Rehabilitation Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Albert Ouellette and the late Loretta (Belanger) Ouellette.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, after raising her family, Claudette was employed as a home health aide for many years. She enjoyed music and loved spending time with family. She was affectionately known as "Memere" by all, especially her caregivers at Clifton, whose kind and compassionate care shown her is greatly appreciated by the family.
She is survived by: four children, Mark J. Nogueira (wife Carol), Paul R. Nogueira (wife Michelle), John G. Nogueira (wife Sandy), and Michelle M. Gagne, Esq. (husband Christopher Bradshaw); daughter-in-law, Sherry Nogueira; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Claudette was predeceased by her son, Stephen P. Nogueira, and sister, Muriel Patenaude.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 11th, at St. John of God Church in Somerset followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
