Conceicao C. Benjamin, 88, of Fall River, widow of Manuel T. Benjamin, passed away at home on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Born Ginetes, St. Michael, Azores, a daughter of the late Joao Caetano and the late Maria Julia Conceicao, she emigrated to Fall River in 1981.

Prior to her retirement she had worked for many years at the former Whaling Mfg. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by: six children, Luisa Cordeiro (husband Jose) of Fall River, Joao Benjamin (wife Lucy) of Fall River, Jose Tavares (wife Ana) of Fall River, Evaristo Benjamin (wife Nely) of No. Dighton, Luis Benjamin (wife Alda) of Fall River, and Mario Benjamin (wife Helena) of Fall River; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Antonio Benjamin (wife Fatima of Fall River); and predeceased by all of her siblings.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 12th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
