Constance J.
Abdallah
d. Dec 18, 2022
Constance J. Abdallah, 90, of Swansea, passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by family on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She had been married to her late husband, Alphonse K. Abdallah, for 63 years. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Waclaw Waszkiewicz and the late Stefania "Stella" (Bukowska) Waszkiewicz.
A BMC Durfee High School graduate, Constance first worked for a short time at W. T. Grant, then was employed for a number of years in the garment industry, at Har-Lee Manufacturing, where she met her husband. She later worked for several years as a clerk at the Fall River Electric Company. She and her husband were communicants of both St. Anthony of the Desert Church and St. Stanislaus Church.
Constance was known for her kindness, warmth, and loving heart. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to reading, shopping, going on rides, and the occasional visits to Foxwoods, Constance enjoyed beautifying her yard with flowers and decorating her home for the various holidays throughout the year.
She is survived by: two children, Alan P. Abdallah of Swansea and Robert M. Abdallah (wife Karyn) of New Port Richey, Florida; five grandchildren, Alyssa Mathieu (husband Paul), Erin, Tyler, Sarah and Matthew Abdallah; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Ben; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceasing her are all of her siblings, Ann Kostka, Theodore Waskiewicz, and Mathew Waskiewicz.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of the Desert Church on Thursday, December 22nd, followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; 800-805-5856; https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html
