Corey Michael Leite, 18, of Fall River, died Saturday unexpectedly. He was the son of Christopher Furtado of Tiverton, RI and Connie (Leite) Furtado of Fall River. He worked for Silver-Line Mfg., and enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle,listening to music, playing the drums and spending time with his friends and family. His survivors include brothers, Richard Perreira and Casey Furtado, sister, Corinne Furtado, step-sister, Alyssa Bouchard, grandparents, Catherine Furtado, Mariano Barreira, Maria Leite, the late George Furtado and the late Ines Barreira, step-mother Diane Silvia, biological father, John Ponte, 29 cousins and many aunts and uncles. His Funeral Mass, celebrated by Father Paul Bernier, was offered on Friday (2/15) in St. Mary's Cathedral. Committal services followed at St. Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Casey Furtado, Christopher Furtado, Roy Leite, Michael Mullarky, Eric Rocha and Joshua Lourenco.
