Cyrus R. Borges, 18, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 21, 2019. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Nelson Borges and Sonia (Correia) Dias. Currently he was a student at B.M.C. Durfee High School, was dedicated to his studies, and always looked forward to going to school. A true homebody, he loved drawing, video games, and watching movies. A polite, happy, young gentleman, Cyrus also enjoyed going out to eat and laughing, especially at his grandfather's "bad" jokes. Besides his parents, he leaves: his sisters, Emelin Rose Borges, Angelina Dias, and Charlotte Grinvalsky; his brothers, Cameron Cabral and Austin Dias; step-mother, Fabia (Brito) Borges; maternal grandparents, Antonio and Maria (Pereira) Aguiar; step-grandparents, Jose and Lina Brito; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his best buds, Nikko and James; and his cherished dog, Mazzy. He was also the grandson of the late Jose and Teresa Borges. His Funeral Service was held on Friday, June 28th, in the our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
