Daciano Revoredo Martins, 63, of Fall River, husband of Mary "Maria" Fatima (Cabral) Martins, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital from complications of COVID-19. Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of Clementina (Pimentel) Martins and the late Antonio Martins.

Prior to his brief illness, he was a laborer for Cicconi and Sons Construction Co. and a member of local 151. An avid soccer and football fan, he also loved cooking, the ocean, swimming, and movies. He enjoyed dining out and traveling to such places as Hampton Beach in New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Newport, and Martha's Vineyard. A long-time member of the Republican Club, he also loved to socialize with his friends.

Besides his loving wife of forty-two years, he leaves his daughter, Stephanie Martins of Fall River; his precious granddaughter, Cailynne Carroll who was the "apple of his eye"; his sisters, Maria Furtado, Helen Camara, Tina Martins, and Juliet Martins, all of Fall River; brothers, Afonso Martins, Fernando Martins, and Antone Martins; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, January 11th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. A private cremation followed.
