Daniel Lima da Rosa, 61, of Fall River, died on February 22, 2010 at home after a short illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Daniel & Laudalina (De Lima) Da Rosa, he emigrated to Fall River in the early 1970s. He worked in construction for many years, and was an active member of the Santo Christo Club. Survivors include: 2 sons, Jeffrey Da Rosa of Assonet & Sylvester Da Rosa of Fall River; 3 siblings, Madalena C. Gonzaga (husband-Custodio) of Fall River, Almorinda L. Correia & Manuel Jacinto Lima both of Canada; many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers Arnold, Chris, Ziggy and Louie Gonzaga, Sylvester and Jeffrey da Rosa brought Daniel to his final resting place at Oak Grove Cemetery.
