Daniel D. DeCouto, 68, of Fall River, former husband of Jeanine (Dupras) DeCouto, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2020 after a long illness.

Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Daniel I. DeCouto and the late Idalina (Rodrigues) DeCouto.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for Globe Manufacturing, Economy Radiator, and most recently, Home Depot. He had a love for classic cars and motorcycles. Dan also enjoyed traveling with his son to such places as New York, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Texas.

He leaves: his loving son, Christopher DeCouto and his companion, Valerie Moth, of Winston, Georgia;  a granddaughter, Taylor Maia and her husband, Higor; brother, Antonio DeCouto of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Jenny Marie DeCouto and brother of the late Louie DeCouto and Alfred DeCouto.

Calling hours were held on Wednesday, February 12th, in our Fall River Chapel. Private cremation to follow.
