Daniel M. Araujo, 77, of Fall River, passed away September 8th. Husband of the late Maria Luisa Araujo. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Vasco and Mariana Araujo. A retired textile worker, he was a member of the Associacao Academica and the Don Carlos Club. Daniel enjoyed fishing, golf, soccer, the Red Sox and Patriots, and his many friends. Beloved father of Marie Giguere, Elizabeth and Vasco J. Araujo and the late Joseph L. and Daniel Araujo (Jr.); grandfather of Cliffton Giguere, Chad and Logan Araujo, and the late Joseph Medeiros; brother of Giselda Oliveira, Madeline Ricardo, Jenny DaSilva, Goretti Balch, Joseph Araujo and the late Silvino J. Araujo. He also leaves six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
