Daniel I. Oliveira, 63, of Fall River, unexpectedly passed away at home on Sunday, May 24, 2026.  Born in Fall River, a son of Maria (Arruda) Oliveira of Swansea and the late Joseph I. Oliveira, he moved to Berkley in 1975 and was a graduate of Taunton High School.

Prior to his retirement, Daniel was a machinist with Quaker Fabric for many years.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger days and always enjoyed working in his yard.

Besides his mother, he is survived by: two children, Daniel I. Oliveira, Jr. (wife Kleidy) of Fall River and Amy L. Farland (husband Rich) of Berkley; four siblings, Joseph Oliveira, Paul Oliveira, Dr. Theresa Oliveira, and Karen Medeiros; four grandchildren, Jocilyne Oliveira, Gracie Oliveira, Wayne Senechal, and Olivia Senechal; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Private interment of cremains will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery at a later date.
