David Cordeiro Sr, 86, of Fall River, husband of the late Jennie (Pisarczyk) Cordeiro, passed on May 24, 2013 at the Crawford Nursing Home. Born in Fall River, son of the late Manuel & Mary (Cabral) Cordeiro, David worked for Regal Flooring for many years until his retirement. A WWII Army Air Corps veteran, he served in the Pacific with the 67th Fighter Squadron. He enjoyed bowling, golf and his family. Father of David Cordeiro Jr. (wife Linda) and the late Stephen D Cordeiro. Brother of Daniel Cordeiro and the late Delores Gisherman, Isabel Platt, & Mary, Manuel, Antone & Gilbert Cordeiro. He also leaves: 2 grandsons, David Cordeiro III, Steven Cordeiro (wife Jaime-Lee); 4 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & friends. His funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29, in our Fall River Chapel followed by a private committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery.
