David T. DeCosta, 59, of Somerset, passed away peacefully at home on February 3rd. He was the husband of Lisa LaSalle-DeCosta, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, son of Doris (Boisvert) DeCosta of Somerset and the late Antone T. DeCosta, Jr. David was a graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1973 and graduated from Coyne Electrical School, Boston in 1976. He was a Master and Journeyman Electrician in Ma and Ri, was a self employed electrician in Somerset and also worked for many local electrical contractors in the area. David was a member and former president of the Somerset Progressive Club. Besides his wife and mother, his survivors include a son, Thomas R. DeCosta; brothers, Steven DeCosta (wife - Sandra), Michael DeCosta (girlfriend - Michelle) and Matthew DeCosta (girlfriend - Tammy); nephews, William, Seth, Ryan, Adam and Benjamin; nieces, Kimberly and Nicole. Following his cremation, a memorial gathering was held at our Somerset Chapel on Thursday, February 12.
