David Lima, 72, of No. Dighton, husband of Norma (Lamarche) Lima, died Monday April 13, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph & Christina (De Costa) Lima, he has resided in No. Dighton since 1968. An electronics technician with Raytheon for over 40 years until retiring in 2008, he had also been an IBEW union member, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed fishing & working on cars, and loved his family & home life. Besides his wife of 46 years, he leaves: 3 children, David B. Lima (wife Jennifer) of Taunton, Debra Harrison (husband Tom) of Somerset, and Denise Luciano (husband Jeff) of Norton; a brother, Steven Paul Lima of Swansea; 3 grandchildren, Allison Lima, and Gavin & Chloe Luciano; several nieces & nephews. He was also brother of the late Joseph Lima Jr and Anne Marie Lima. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, April 20th, in St. Nicholas of Myra Church. Burial was Private.
