David "Duke" Rebello, 81, of Fall River, died on December 10, 2008 at Clifton Rehab, Somerset after a long illness. Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph & Mary (Medeiros) Rebello, he was a lifelong resident of Fall River. He worked as a laborer at Newport Naval Base for about 30 years. A Navy veteran of WWII, he was a member of the VFW of Middletown, RI. He enjoyed dancing and doing home improvements for friends and family. Father of David (his wife-Alicia), Gail & Cynthia Rebello, Mary Lou (her husband-Stephen) Medeiros and Theresa Quental all of Fall River. Brother of Lorraine Arruda of Fall River and the late Joseph "Delly" Rebello. Grandfather of Derek, Stephen, Ashley, Robert, Kerri, Michael, Ryan, Brooke, Emily & Alexa. Great Grandfather of Ava, Madisyn, Dylan & Jayden. Former husband of the late Rosalind (Perry) Rebello. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral serivice was held at the Silva Faria Funeral home. His internment was private at Notre Dame Cemetery.
