Obituary

Dean Diogo, 49, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Jose A. Diogo and Valentina (Gaudencio) Diogo.

At the time of his passing, he was a self-taught photographer and an accomplished artist whose work revealed his true passion for nature, landscape, portraits, and the love of Fall River. He had a real appreciation for nature, for life, for the beauty in this world and much of it he was able to capture in his photography. Dean also enjoyed filmmaking, fishing, and most importantly, spending quality time with family and friends.   He was the proprietor of Dean Diogo Photography and recently opened the Garage Gallery here in the city. Dean will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his devoted parents, he leaves his loving brother, Jeffrey Diogo and his wife, Charlotte, of Swansea; his two nieces, Chloe Valentina Diogo and Stella Mae Diogo; his nephew, Lucas  Jeffrey Diogo; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and a countless number friends. He also leaves behind his cherished dog, Glock.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 14th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patricks Cemetery.
