Debra L. Ramos, 64, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, surrounded by her family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Albert Cournoyer and the late Jeannine (Ballard) Cournoyer. She was employed as a certified nursing assistant with local area home health care organizations for many years. Her compassion made her patients more like family. She enjoyed reading and loved animals.

She is survived by: her companion of many years, Darrin Blais of Westport; her daughter, Lindsey Destremps (husband David) of Fall River; two siblings, Sandra Rego and Robert Cournoyer both of Fall River; a grandchild, Aiden, plus one on the way; several nieces, Mellanee, Hannah and Kylee Webster, and several nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 12th, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
