Delfina (deCosta) Domingos, formerly Rodrigues, 97, of Fall River, widow of Manuel S. Domingos, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at Southpointe Rehab & Skilled Care Center. Born in Terceira, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel & Maria C. (Costa) deCosta, she emigrated to the US in 1960, living in Bristol, RI, for several years before residing in Fall River since 1963. Prior to her retirement in 1970, she was employed at the former Anderson Little Co. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Maria R. Borges of Fall River & Valdemira Machado of Pawtucket, RI; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Manuel Borges of Dighton, Mary L. Lauzier, Ernest R. Borges & Eselda F. Major all of Fall River, Maria Szrom of Pawtucket, RI, and Richard Machado of Cumberland, RI; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by 11 siblings. Her Funeral Mass, celebrated by Father Brian Albino, was offered on Tuesday (12/11) in St Anthony of Padua Church. Committal services followed at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Borges, Ernest Borges, Nathan Fortier, Kyle Borges, Richard Machado and John Lauzier.
