Deolinda "Lee" (Cabral) O'Grodnik, 89, of Somerset, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, following an illness. She was the widow of Edward T. O'Grodnik, Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Cabral and the late Maria (Leonardo) Cabral. A resident of Somerset since 1953, she was employed in the textile trade of Fall River for many years as a floor supervisor at the former Shelburne Shirt Co. Lee was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church in Somerset. Surviving family members include her daughter, Susan C. Silvia (husband John Jr., Esq.), three grandchildren; John R. Silvia, J.D., Dr. James E. Silvia, and Justin A. Silvia (wife Erin), five great grandchildren; John R. Jr., Madison E., Hadley G., Anderson J., and Carter A. Silvia, a brother, Antone Cabral, a sister, Marion Foley, several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Jessie Cabral, Evelyn Riddle, Dorothy Kenney and Mary Souza. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 24th in St. Thomas More Church in Somerset followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
