Diamantina (Arruda) Diogo, 88, of Fall River, died on October 27, 2008 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Adelino M. Diogo. Born in Remedios Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jose & Maria (Correia) Arruda. A Fall River resident since coming to the U.S. in 1971, she worked for the former BoMar Mfg. Co. She is survived by sons, Jose, Luis, Adelino and Deniz Diogo, all of Fall River, and Eduardo Diogo of Toronto, Canada, daughters, Auseiliadora Jacob of St. Michael, Azores, Fatima Costa of Fall River and Ana Medeiros of Toronto, Canada, sisters, Senhorinha Farias of Fall River and Rosa Arruda of St. Michael, Azores, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Antonio M. Costa, Jr. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers Bob Jacob, Derek, Adelino, Jacob, Michael, Brian and Jeffrey Diogo, Danny Jacob and Kevin Costa brought Diamantina to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
