Dinarte Falcao, 71, of Fall River, husband of the late Idalina dos Santos (Mota) Falcao, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 1, 2023. Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Gilberto Falcao and the late Gilberta (de Melo) Falcao.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a machinist for Queen Screw Manufacturing for many years. An avid Sporting fan, he also, in his younger days, played soccer. He enjoyed camping with his wife in Florida and Niagara Falls, traveling to Canada to visit family, attending Portuguese Feasts, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family.

He leaves his loving children, Carla Falcao and her husband, Warren Hammon, and Ricardo Falcao and his wife, Sonia Falcao, both of Fall River; his seven grandchildren, Tyler Crespi, Isabella Crespi, Alexander Falcao, Sofia Lewis, Jack Lewis, Briana Falcao, and Nicole Falcao; one great-grandson, Noah Crespi; his sisters, Helen N.  Loggie (Paul), Lucy Falcao, Carmella Fotopolous (George), and Iria Falcao, all of Toronto, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his cherished dog, Boginha. He was the brother of the late Mario Falcao.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 7th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
