Dolores Almeida, 79, of Somerset, wife of Joseph Almeida, died Saturday December 4, 2010 at home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Francisco & Alice (Furtado) Santos, she was a telephone operator with New England Telephone for 26 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed sports, knitting & cooking. Besides her husband, she leaves: a son, Robert J. Almeida, and a daughter, Brenda J. Quinn (husband Thomas) all of Somerset; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Phyllis Michaud.
