Dolores Pereira, 87, of Fall River, wife of the late Vital C. Pereira, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton following a period of declining health. Born in the Azores, she was the daughter of the late Leonel Lima and the late Diamantina (Cabral) Lima. Prior to her retirement she was an account clerk and cashier in the Fall River District Court for over thirty years.

A devout Catholic, she was a long-time parishioner of Holy Name Church where she attended Mass faithfully.  She also enjoyed dining out with her beloved husband and working out at WOW where she was known as the "Mayor of WOW". Del will be remembered for her impeccable appearance, her wonderful smile, and, most importantly, her devotion and unwavering dedication in caring for her late husband and her late mother during their illnesses.

She leaves her cousin, Joanne Vieira and her husband, Jeffrey, and her long-time friends and caregivers, Paul and Patricia Cordeiro, all of Fall River. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert M. Lima.

According to her wishes, a private committal service was held on October 3rd at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
