Dolores (Moniz) Quental , 84, of Somerset, widow of Roland Quental, passed away peacefully at home o n Friday. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel E. and Erondina (Farias) Moniz. She was the executive secretary for Local 328 of the UFCW for many years, a job she was particularly proud of. Dolores enjoyed taking care of her home, making sure everything was up to her standards. Having strong faith, she sang in various church choirs throughout her life. Dolores leaves her children, Christopher Quental (wife-Sherri-Ann), Mary Murphy (husband James), Joanne Hunt, and Paula Titus (husband-John); four grandchildren, Lauren Avedisian, Seth Quental, Chelsie and Sara Martin; a great-granddaughter Gretchen Adamo; a sister Natalie Vieira of Tacoma, Washington; many nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Jesse Zawerucka. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 3rd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her burial was private.
