Domnick D. Faggioli Sr, 93, of Fall River, husband of the late Mary (Vieira) Faggioli, died at home Sunday 6/1/14. Born in Fall River, son of the late Vincenzo & Fortunata (Gambatista) Faggioli, he also lived in Westport for about 50 years. He worked in the local construction industry for many years, retiring in 1977, and was a member of Laborers Union Local 610. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a life member of the VFW of Westport. A longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, he was a past Grand Knight of St. Isidore #4373 Council of Westport, attained his 4th Degree and was a past Faithful Navigator while with Bishop Cassidy Council #3669, and was a Marian Medal Recipient. He leaves: 2 children, Domnick D. Faggioli Jr & Judith A. Pereira; a grandson, David Pereira; a brother, Nickolas Faggioli; several nieces & nephews. Also brother of the late Marie Robins, Lucy Teves, Rose Cabral, Vincent, Cesar & David Faggioli. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 6, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by his committal with military honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
