Donna Marie Fernandes, 56, of Fall River, wife of Edward Fernandes, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2022 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Theresa (Bergeron) Medeiros and the late Edward Medeiros.

She loved cooking, baking, and shopping. A genuine and loving woman, she was also a natural caregiver to all. But what was most important to Donna was spending quality time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Besides her husband of thirty-five years, she leaves her three children, Corey E. Fernandes, Macy Lynn Fernandes, and Madison Lynn Fernandes; her granddaughter, Vivian James Araujo; sisters, Cathleen Berube and Susanna Anunciacao; brothers, Wayne Freitas, Anthony Medeiros and Jason Freitas; and many nieces and nephews.

Following a private cremation, Her Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 1st, in St. Anthony of Padua Church.
