Doreen M. Caine, 67, of Tiverton, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John R. Santos and the late Dorothy (Teixeira) Santos.

She was employed at SAIC Defense Systems of Middletown, RI, for 35 years. A lifelong Disney fan, Doreen instilled in her family a love of everything Disney related, making for a special bond with her daughter.

She is survived by: a daughter, Mandy Dias-Grotta (husband Joseph) of Fall River; two nieces, Jessica Jeffries (fiancé Shawn Oliveira) and Rebecca Tavares (husband Alexander); two great-nieces, Emma Oliveira and Isabelle Tavares; one great-nephew, Mason Tavares; many other nieces and nephews; and two grandpups, Tonka and Castiel. Doreen was also the sister of the late Audrey Jeffries and John Santos, Jr.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, November 7th, at St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
