Doris (Robidoux) Azevedo, 85, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday. She was the wife of John Azevedo (Retired-FRPD), with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Arthur G. & Blanche (Caron) Robidoux. Doris was a former model and hairdresser. She was an avid knitter, gardener and artist. She wintered for many years in St. Petersburg, Florida. Besides her husband, Doris is survived by her children, John Azevedo II and his wife, Cynthia (Janusz) of Westport, Thomas Azevedo and his wife, Karen (Bolger) of Fall River and Stephanie Azevedo of Fall River; siblings Arthur Robidoux, Jr. of New Bedford, Pauline Miller of Florida and Vivian Martinson of Minnesota; beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Azevedo-Andre, Jonathan Azevedo and Lillian Rose Azevedo; great grandchildren, Triston, Amelia and soon-to-be-born Luna Rose; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held during a gathering at our Fall River Chapel on Tuesday, May 12th. Her cremation was private.
