Doris Camara, 91, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at Crawford Nursing Home on March 8, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter the late Rollin and Cordelia (Roberts) Read. Doris was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. In her later years she was a member of a singing group called the "Whipperwills" for which she was particularly proud of. She leaves her daughter, Marsha Camara and her companion Michael Lebeau of Fall River; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat "Rocky". Doris was also the sister of the late Marion Daley, Jeanne McHenry, Mildred Rebello and Norman Read. Her funeral arrangements were private.
