Dorothy Albernaz, 75, of Fall River, died Thursday 1/7/10 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center. Daughter of the late Joseph & Helen (Moreira) Albernaz, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Employed as a claims representative with Aetna for 25 years until her retirement, she had also worked for Custard Ins. and MRC. She was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church, and a member of the Notre Dame Women's Guild. She loved her beach trailer on East Beach, Westport, for many years. Sister of the late Irene King and John & Manuel Albernaz, she is survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins. On Monday, 1/11/10, friends and family gatherd for a funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church. Her interment was at St. Patrick Cemetery.
