Dorothy Antaya, 75, of Fall River died Tuesday unexpectedly. Wife of Edmond Antaya. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Herman and Florence (Vieira) Borges. She supervised Espirito Santo School lunch program for 29 years. An active member of Espirito Santo Parish, she was past president of the Women's Guild, member of Holy Rosary Society, Council of Catholic Women and served as a CCD teacher. She was mother of Ronald and Richard Antaya both of this city and Catherine Antaya of Assonet; grandmother of Stephanie Niewola, Danielle Lobo, Meghan and Matthew Cuvellier and Alexandra Antaya; sister of the late Ruth Reed. She also leaves 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral was held Saturday, July 21st, in Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers were Matthew Cuvellier, TJ Rodrigues, Timmy Cabral, Jerry Lobo, Joe Lopes and Charlie Reed. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
