Dorothy L. "Dot" (Baker) Bastille, 89, of Fall River, died peacefully at Kimwell Nursing Home on on September 5, 2008. She was the Widow of Emile J. Bastille and daughter of the late Rodman & Loretta (Smith) Baker. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a homemaker and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. She attended the Council on Aging's Adult Day Care program in Westport. Survivors include a son, Richard J. Bastille of Taunton, daughter, Lorraine Theroux (husband, Robert E.) of Westport, brother, Joseph Baker of Swansea, sisters, Marion Cordeiro and Patricia Biltcliffe, both of Fall River, grandchildren, Stephen Theroux, Carol Cabral, Tami Teixeira, Christopher Bastille, Sgt. 1st Class, U.S. Army, Jim Bastille and Jennifer Bastille, great grandchildren, Jamie, Katy, Kasandra, Kristen, Evan, Brenna, Morgan, Talazia and Jayden, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Michelle Theroux Silvia and sister of the late Walter, Francis, Rodman + William Baker, Hazel Barcellos, Rita Lile, Ruth Rousseau and Helen DiCorpo. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Committal Service was held at St. Patrick Cemetery.
