Dorothy "Dolly" Brilhante, 80, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Widow of John Brilhante. Born in Westerly, RI, daughter of the late Pasquale T. & Lucy (DePlacito) DeFusco. She was a secretary at the Laborer's Union Local #610. A Notary Public, she was also a member of the Holy Rosary Women's Guild, Merry Makers and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Dolly loved to travel, talk on the phone with friends and was an avid reader. She had a great sense of humor that was contagious to all that knew her. Survivors include a son, Robert Neubauer of Oil City, PA; daughters, Paula Miranda (husband – Sil) of Swansea, Toni Neubauer (companion – Edward Branco) and Patti Neubauer, both of Fall River;brothers, Pasquale DeFusco of Warwick, RI and Robert DeFusco of Fall River; a sister, Marie Jordan of Tiverton, RI; grandchildren, Farrah, John, Chad, Robert Jr., Sarah and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Evan, Hannah, Julianna, Evangeline, PJ, Hunter and Jayden; and several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Richard Neubauer, Jr. and former spouse of the late Richard L. Neubauer. Her funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Church. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
