Dorothy J. (Bolger) McCann, beloved wife of the late Raymond T. McCann, passed away at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River on Monday, December 8, 2014, at the age of 93. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah Bolger and the late Elizabeth (Shaw) Bolger. Devoted mother of Barbara Page and William McCann, wife Kerry, loving grandmother of Kathleen Cwikla, Kristine Dawson, Shelly McCann and Michael Cwikla, great-grandmother of Nathan and Molly Ashton, Kathryn and Bryce Dawson, Tara McCann, Connor Cwikla and great great grandmother of Elli Raposo, sister of Dolores Michaud and the late Pauline Drobyski, Irene Gazzero, Margaret Gagnon, Phyllis Bolger, Edward Bolger, Jeremiah Bolger, William Bolger, John Bolger and Leonard Bolger and mother-in-law of the late Brian Page. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and was employed for forty years as a secretary to the late Msgr. John E. Boyd and the Very Rev. Peter N. Graziano at Catholic Social Services. Dorothy enjoyed golfing and was a member of the former Pocasset Country Club in Portsmouth, RI. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, December 12, in the Chapel at the Catholic Memorial Home followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
