Dorothy (Nascimento) Raposo, 88, formerly of California St., passed away Monday. Widow of James Raposo. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frank and Mariana Nascimento, she was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of James Raposo, Jr. (wife-Frances) and Catherine A. Raposa; sister of the late Frank "Sonny" Nascimento, Jr. and Irene Marquardt. She also leaves sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service officiated by Father Michael Racine was held at our Fall River Chapel during her calling hours on Thursday, June 6. Her cremation was private.
