Dorothy M. (Neery) William, 88, of Fall River, passed away on September 30, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late James K. William.  Born in Central Falls, Rhode
Island, a daughter of the Joseph and Mary Neery. Her husband James died at 40
years of age and they had been married for only 5 years. She raised her three
children alone and once they were grown she worked for the Fall River School
Department for many years as part of the cafeteria staff. Her children, grandchildren
and great grandchildren were everything to her and she was the happiest when she
was with them and loved it when they were all together. She is survived by her 3
children Donna M. Reid (husband-Robert) of North Dartmouth, MA, James M. William
(wife-Jacklyn) of Westport, MA and Ernest J. William (wife Deborah) of Tiverton, RI., 6
grandchildren Sean William, Sara (Reid) Ionescu, Kyle Reid, Zachary William, Melanie
William, and Samantha William; 3 great grandchildren Chace William, Millie Reid and
Penelope Ionescu. She also leaves her sister Gloria Ackley, her nephew George
Ackley and niece Joanne Audet and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass
was celebrated on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Saint Anthony of the Desert Church,
Fall River, MA followed by her committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
