Douglas John Nasiff, 53, of North Dartmouth, husband of Nelia (Raposo) Nasiff, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Marilyn (Habib) Nasiff and the late Frederick P. Nasiff, Sr. He was co-owner of Nasiff Fruit Company, a business which he was extremely passionate about. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed basketball and football, and also loved "his" sports cars. What was most important to Doug was his loving family. Besides his wife of 27 years, he leaves: his beloved children, Jordan D. Nasiff and Andrea E. Nasiff both of Dartmouth, MA; a brother, Steven Nasiff and his wife Joan of Berkley, MA; sisters, Melanie A. Harrington and her husband Michael of Sturbridge, MA and Melissa A. Almeida and her husband Mark of Mansfield, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Frederick P. Nasiff, Jr. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, September 14th, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
