Duarte Correia, 44, of Fall River, died Sunday, August 3, 2008, at home after a short illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of Maria G. (Melo) Correia of Fall River & the late Antonio C. Correia, he emigrated to Fall River in 1975. Employed as a truck driver with J. Moniz Co., he was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church and enjoyed spending time with his children. Father of Kori & Brittni Correia both of Fall River; brother of Margaret Soares of Swansea, Ana Sousa, Grace Rego, Joao & Carlos Correia all of Fall River, and the late Manuel A. Correia. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts & cousins. Funeral arrangements with Silva-Faria Funeral Home were private.
