Duarte Oliveira, 82, of McGowan St. passed away Sunday at home. Husband of the late Ines Oliveira. Born in Joao Bom, Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Agostinho and Ana Emilia Oliveira, he worked for over 25 years at Borden Remington Co. Beloved father of Jose and Domingos Oliveira and Ana Moreira (husband-John); grandfather of Carina and Veronica Moreira; brother of Luis Oliveira (his twin) and the late Manuel, Angelina, Jose, Antonio, Agostinho, Maria and Teresa Oliveira. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, June 13, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
