Edeline Aguiar, 90, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in the comforts of her home. She shared sixty-two wonderful years with her late husband, John Aguiar, who  passed in 2015.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Gil and Mary (Cabral) Rodrigues.

Prior to her retirement she worked in the local textile industry as a presser for many years. She very much enjoyed meticulously taking care of her home and property.  Edeline was kind, generous and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed one. Most notably, she loved taking care of and spending quality time with her niece, Suzanne.

She leaves: her sister, Mary Felix (late husband, Joseph); her brother, Joseph Rodrigues and his wife, Margaret, of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anne Teixeira, Julia Mello-DelToro, Alice Bigelow, Cecelia Materia, Patricia Vaillancourt, and Gil Rodrigues.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, July 24th, at St. Christopher Church in Tiverton followed by her private committal at Pocasset Hill Cemetery also in Tiverton.
