Edmond J. Pereira, age 80, of Somerset, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Medeiros) Pereira of Somerset. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late James Pereira and the late Maria T. (Rocha) Pereira. Edmond was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. Before retiring he was employed for forty years at Duro Finishing. In addition to Jacqueline, his wife of thirty six years, he leaves a daughter, Linda Venier of Tiverton, RI, a sister, Beatrice Beimel of Kersey, PA, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Daniel S. Pereira. His Funeral Arrangements with the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home were private.
